The short version: unless you write to us, this site does not collect personal information about you. It uses no cookies, analytics, tracking, accounts or forms, and it loads nothing from other servers.

Who runs this site. P. Steyn, hello@anzubo.com. Under data protection law we are the “controller” for the little processing described below.

Your choices. The region, currency and language you pick are kept in the page address, so nothing needs storing. If you press Remember my choices, your browser stores one entry, named anzubo-choices, holding only those three choices. It is written only when you press the button, never leaves your browser, and is removed by Forget or by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

Our host. The site is served by Cloudflare. As with any website, delivering a page means Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical details of the request, such as your browser type and the page you asked for. Cloudflare processes these on our behalf to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and also uses traffic data for its own network security. We do not receive your IP address. Cloudflare keeps this data for the periods described in its privacy policy, and may transfer it to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

If you write to us. Mail to hello@anzubo.com is forwarded by Cloudflare to our mailbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail). We use your address and message only to reply to you, and delete the correspondence once it is no longer needed. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Legal basis. Our legitimate interest in delivering a working and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights. You can ask us what personal data we hold about you (none, unless you have written to us) and ask us to delete it. You can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority where you live.

Links to other sites. The sources we cite link to other websites, which have their own privacy policies. Our links do not tell them which page you came from.
