Examined and not listed › Astribot (Stardust Intelligence / 星尘智能)
Astribot T1 · 星尘智能 T1
Does not meet one of this site’s four inclusion criteria, so it is not in the catalogue.
This is a statement about what this site lists, not about the product. The criteria are deliberately narrow (multi-purpose home robots that physically handle objects and adapt to what they find), and a robot can be excellent and still sit outside them. The criteria in full.
Criteria it does not meet
-
Credible home path
Not metTargets domestic use, and has a public price, preorder or announced release window. Targeting domestic use means being offered to households (an order, preorder, waitlist or announced consumer release); a public price or sales to businesses alone is not enough. Pure research demos are excluded.
The T1 has a public price (from CNY 89,900) and has shipped since June 2026, and press lists the home as one of five target scenarios. But press reports that the T1 "目前其主要面向B端市场,已收获企业订单" (is currently aimed mainly at business customers and has won enterprise orders), and named deliveries are to research, commercial service, entertainment and industrial customers. Astribot's own website has no T1 product page and describes no way for a household to buy the robot.

Criteria it does meet
Stated as plainly as the ones above. These are not consolation: they are part of the record, and on some of these pages the evidence here is stronger than anything in the catalogue.
-
Multi-task by design
MetPerforms two or more distinct household task types. Not a single-purpose appliance, and not one task described several ways. A task counts when the vendor demonstrates or states it, including when independent press reports the vendor’s own demonstration.
Press reports the T1 demonstrated cooking (frying a steak) and laundry and storage ("煎牛排、洗衣收纳"), alongside commercial tasks such as mixing drinks, chemistry experiments and sorting car parts. Cooking and laundry are distinct household chores.

-
Physical manipulation
MetHas arms, grippers or manipulators, and can pick up, move or handle objects.
Two arms on a wheeled base, 23 degrees of freedom and a 5 kg payload per arm (press).

-
AI-driven autonomy
MetCopes with unscripted variation within a task: it perceives what is actually there and adapts, rather than replaying a fixed motion sequence. How a task is started is not part of this test.
Press describes Astribot's DuoCore framework, in which a fast system makes millisecond posture adjustments and avoids obstacles in real time while a slow system breaks long tasks into steps. Astribot has shown a home-scenario action model, Lumo-2, on a real robot packing items into a bag and zipping it shut, and reports retail stores run autonomously by its robots. These descriptions come from press and are not independently confirmed.

What would change this
Would qualify if Astribot offers the T1, or a home version of it, for sale to households, through a consumer sales channel or a home-specific release date.
Records are re-checked as the field moves. A robot that meets all four criteria later moves into the catalogue.
