Figure 03
Does not meet 2 of this site’s four inclusion criteria, so it is not in the catalogue.
This is a statement about what this site lists, not about the product. The criteria are deliberately narrow (multi-purpose home robots that physically handle objects and adapt to what they find), and a robot can be excellent and still sit outside them. The criteria in full.
Criteria it does not meet
-
Multi-task by design
Not metPerforms two or more distinct household task types. Not a single-purpose appliance, and not one task described several ways.
The only evidenced capability is a single continuous ~4-minute demo handling dishes end to end: unload dishwasher, cross-room navigation, stack items in cabinets, reload and start dishwasher. This is one household task (dishes, thoroughly done) performed in several steps, not 2+ distinct household task types -- the "one activity described several ways" pattern the gate is written to catch, not a genuine second task type such as laundry or cooking.

Credible home path
Not metTargets domestic use, and has a public price, preorder or announced release window. Pure research demos are excluded.
No vendor statement offers a consumer product, price, date or programme. Figure's 2026 announcements are enterprise-facing (the Index dataset, an Nscale/NVIDIA GPU deal, a BMW deployment, Catalyst Brands, production ramp-up). A stated mission to eventually reach homes is not a consumer offer.

Criteria it does meet
Stated as plainly as the ones above. These are not consolation: they are part of the record, and on some of these pages the evidence here is stronger than anything in the catalogue.
-
Physical manipulation
MetHas arms, grippers or manipulators, and can pick up, move or handle objects.
Autonomous dishwasher unloading/loading and cabinet stacking, described end to end.

-
AI-driven autonomy
MetCopes with unscripted variation within a task: it perceives what is actually there and adapts, rather than replaying a fixed motion sequence. How a task is started is not part of this test.
Vendor describes the run as fully autonomous, "entirely from onboard sensors with no human intervention", consistent with Figure's publicly named Helix vision-language-action system, although the cited page does not itself name the model.
Evidence: 2. Figure AI
What would change this
Would qualify if Figure demonstrates a second, genuinely distinct household task type beyond the dishes workflow (e.g. laundry, cooking, general tidying), and publishes any consumer-facing price, preorder mechanism or announced release window.
Records are re-checked as the field moves. A robot that meets all four criteria later moves into the catalogue.
