MiPA
Does not meet 3 of this site’s four inclusion criteria, so it is not in the catalogue.
This is a statement about what this site lists, not about the product. The criteria are deliberately narrow (multi-purpose home robots that physically handle objects and adapt to what they find), and a robot can be excellent and still sit outside them. The criteria in full.
Criteria it does not meet
-
Multi-task by design
Not metPerforms two or more distinct household task types. Not a single-purpose appliance, and not one task described several ways.
Vendor describes MiPA operating across many deployment contexts (home, elder care, hospitality, workplace, kitchen, healthcare), but the underlying function is the same in every context: transporting/carrying items and acting as a smart interface. That is one capability applied across settings, not 2+ distinct household task types -- the same pattern the gate excludes when a robot does one task in several rooms.

Physical manipulation
Not metHas arms, grippers or manipulators, and can pick up, move or handle objects.
Vendor specifies 16 degrees of freedom, a linear axis, and carrying attachments (backpack, shelf, table, hook, clip, tool-change), with hand-gesture and touch-screen control. Neither vendor page describes an arm, gripper or hand able to grasp or pick up an object. As described, MiPA carries what a person loads onto it rather than picking objects up itself; a robot that only moves itself, or loads placed on it, around does not meet this criterion.

AI-driven autonomy
Not metCopes with unscripted variation within a task: it perceives what is actually there and adapts, rather than replaying a fixed motion sequence. How a task is started is not part of this test.
No vendor statement found describing the underlying model or how tasks are given.
Evidence:no source: nothing was found either way
Criteria it does meet
Stated as plainly as the ones above. These are not consolation: they are part of the record, and on some of these pages the evidence here is stronger than anything in the catalogue.

Credible home path
MetTargets domestic use, and has a public price, preorder or announced release window. Pure research demos are excluded.
Published EUR price with a refundable reservation fee and a stated late-2026 release window.
Evidence: 1. NEURA Robotics
What would change this
Would qualify if NEURA states MiPA (or a variant) has an arm or gripper capable of grasping objects rather than only carrying pre-loaded attachments, describes a second distinct task type beyond transport and interface, and states how the robot is tasked or what model drives it.
Records are re-checked as the field moves. A robot that meets all four criteria later moves into the catalogue.
