M1
Does not meet 3 of this site’s four inclusion criteria, so it is not in the catalogue.
This is a statement about what this site lists, not about the product. The criteria are deliberately narrow (multi-purpose home robots that physically handle objects and adapt to what they find), and a robot can be excellent and still sit outside them. The criteria in full.
Criteria it does not meet
-
Multi-task by design
Not metPerforms two or more distinct household task types. Not a single-purpose appliance, and not one task described several ways.
ZEROTH's product page, its US-launch press release and independent CES coverage consistently describe M1 as a compact companion humanoid, about 50 cm (19 in) tall, for older adults and children. Its claimed functions are companionship (child interaction, reminders and daily assistance), which counts as a task type, and monitoring (fall detection, mobile safety checks, pet monitoring), which does not. The criterion also requires at least one physical household chore, and no chore -- cleaning, cooking, laundry, tidying, fetching or putting away -- is claimed for M1.

-
Physical manipulation
Not metHas arms, grippers or manipulators, and can pick up, move or handle objects.
The vendor page states a 20.08 in dual-arm span and 20 degrees of freedom, but no source, vendor or independent, describes a hand, gripper or grasping capability. ZEROTH's published roadmap assigns "better manipulation" for chores such as fetching and wiping surfaces to a separate, future full-size humanoid ("Jupiter"), distinguishing it from M1.

AI-driven autonomy
Not metCopes with unscripted variation within a task: it perceives what is actually there and adapts, rather than replaying a fixed motion sequence. How a task is started is not part of this test.
The vendor describes M1 as "an embodied intelligence" that "grows with you", and lists autonomous person-following and reinforcement-learning tools for developers. None of the cited sources names the model that drives M1's behaviour, describes it perceiving and adapting within a task, or describes recovery from error; the launch release refers to built-in skills that can be updated over time. General descriptions of intelligence are not evidence of adaptive task execution.

Criteria it does meet
Stated as plainly as the ones above. These are not consolation: they are part of the record, and on some of these pages the evidence here is stronger than anything in the catalogue.

Credible home path
MetTargets domestic use, and has a public price, preorder or announced release window. Pure research demos are excluded.
ZEROTH's US launch release announced preorders from Q1 2026 starting at $2,899, with general availability expected in April 2026. The vendor's product page lists a sale price of $2,499 and showed M1 as sold out on 2026-09-25; a second vendor page listed it for pre-order. A published US price and a vendor sales route exist.

What would change this
Would qualify if ZEROTH shows M1 performing at least one physical household chore alongside its companion role, handling objects with a hand or gripper, and adapting within those tasks. ZEROTH's planned full-size Jupiter humanoid, which the company describes as aimed at chores, would be assessed separately once it has a consumer offer.
Records are re-checked as the field moves. A robot that meets all four criteria later moves into the catalogue.
