The short answer: two robots in this site’s data say they help a household keep track of things: reminders, schedules and lists. One is on preorder in the US; the other is sold only in mainland China.
This site has not tested any robot. Everything below comes from what vendors and the press have published, labelled by how well it is established.
What this page covers
Reminders and schedules are not a physical chore, and plenty of devices without arms offer them. They appear here because some home robots list them among their jobs, and a robot that can also walk over to a person, or bring them something, may do more with a reminder than a speaker can. No robot is listed on this site for reminders alone.
What the state of the art actually is
The claims below are graded on three levels, the same ones used on every robot page:
- Shipped: the vendor says customers are using the robot for this.
- Demonstrated: shown in video, at an event or to the press, but not established in customers’ homes.
- Claimed: stated, but not yet shown.
Which robots attempt it
On preorder in the US
- NEO (1X Technologies): 1X says NEO retains memory across conversations and helps with scheduling, reminders, grocery lists and tracking language lessons. Claimed.
On sale in mainland China only
- Futuring 2 (Futuring Robot): the vendor says it reminds older household members about medication and helps deliver it to them. Shipped, according to the vendor. This site records that claim; it does not give advice on medication or care.
What a buyer should realistically expect today
This is not a reason on its own to buy a home robot. Treat it as a feature alongside the physical work the robot does, and see each robot’s page for what that is.
